• OAuth tokens — when you connect your TikTok or other social media accounts, we receive authentication tokens to act on your behalf
• Video content — content you upload or create through the service for publishing
• Basic account info — username, email, and profile information from connected platforms

2. How We Use Your Data

• To publish content to your connected social media accounts
• To manage and schedule your posts
• To maintain your session and account access

We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. It's used solely to provide the service.

3. Third-Party Services

ghostferal integrates with third-party platforms, primarily the TikTok API. When you connect your account, data is transmitted to and from TikTok according to their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing:

4. Data Storage & Retention

OAuth tokens are stored securely and retained only as long as your account is connected. Video content is processed transiently and not stored long-term on our servers. If you disconnect your account or request deletion, we'll remove your data within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage for authentication tokens. No system is 100% secure, but we do our best.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect your accounts at any time
• Revoke OAuth access through TikTok's settings

7. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll note the date at the top so you know when it last changed.
